Bilbao airport has three intercity bus lines that connect the airport with the main destinations in the region. The bus stops at the passenger terminal are located outside and are easily accessible.

Intercity buses to/from Bilbao Airport
Bus line A3247 (3247) Bilbao-Airport <-> Airport-Bilbao.
Bus line operated by the company Bizkaibus, which connects the airport with Bilbao Termibus (Bilbao's main bus station), in the city center. It makes stops at Gran Vía, Plaza Moyua and Alameda Recalde.
The trip usually takes between 15 and 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Terminal level 3, sidewalk Departures.
Frequency and schedule*:
Departures from Bilbao: from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every 15 minutes during summer time and every 20 minutes during winter time.
From the airport: from 6:00 a.m. to 11:40 p.m. every 15 minutes during summer time and every 20 minutes during winter time (last departure during summer time: 12:00 a.m.).
*Special schedules on special dates December 24, 25 and 31.

Bus line A2153 (2153) Bilbao-Txorierri- Larrabetzu (Bilbao-Txorierriko Korridorea / Corredor del Txorierri-Larrabetzu).
Bus line operated by the company Bizkaibus, which connects the center of Bilbao with the municipalities of Erandio, Lauroeta, Loiu (airport), Derio, Zmudio, Parque Tecnológico, Lezama and Larrabetzu.
Terminal level 1, sidewalk Arrivals.Frequency and schedule*: one every hour: from Bilbao, from 7:00 a.m. (8:00 a.m. on Sundays and holidays) to 22:00 p.m., and from Larrabetzu, from 6:30 a.m. to 21:30 p.m. (Sundays and holidays from 7:30 a.m. to 21:30 p.m.).

Bus line D004 Airport-Zarautz-San Sebastián/Donostia <-> Donostia/San Sebastián-Zarautz-Airport.
BusBus line operated by the company Avanza, which connects the airport with Plaza de Pío XII in San Sebastián in direct service, with an approximate duration of 74 minutes.
The stop in Zarautz is on demand only (at the firemen's traffic circle).
The line is integrated into the MUGI system.

Bus line operated by the company La Unión, which connects Bilbao airport with Bilbao city, Vitoria airport, Vitoria-Gasteiz bus station and Vitoria-Gasteiz city center.
The line is integrated into the MUGI system.
